UV Coating

A UV coating is applied to a printed sheet, then bonded and cured with ultraviolet light. This coating yields a tough, almost unscratchable surface that is extremely durable. You can print your postcards with UV coating on both sides or just have it applied to one side. Anytime your print project is mailed, it is helpful to varnish or coat the piece. Bookmarks, pocket folders, business cards, rack cards, etc. would also be good candidates for varnishing or coating.

Layout Guidelines

Files should be set up to be the exact dimensions. If the file bleeds, an additional 1/8" is required (0.0625" around each edge - 0.125" total) to accommodate images and/or graphics that extend to the edge of the page.
